Darien was very professional and let us try several flavors before we settled on the buffalo ranch and the birthday cake flavors. Definitely didn't taste any flavors we didn't like, so we will definitely be back for more!

Hidden gem! Love this little place. Perfect spot to grab a scoop of high quality speciality ice cream and then go for a little walk downtown Mt Holly. Love the popcorn container option too.

Randomly found this place after hanging out on the river. Walked in and the owner was super nice. He is like the Willy Wonka of popcorn. There are so many creative flavors to try. Amazing gem and worth the drive from Charlotte.

Just received my Pop Maiz N popcorn. The package looked like a present! What an amaizn one at that!! The popcorn was worth waiting for (but it didn't take long)! I had to hurry to write this review becuz it won't last long. Its wonderful...buffalo ranch gives you the ranch flavor off the top, then tha buffalo hits you...salted caramel is a "must have", though caramel and cheddar are old time favorites!! I will be buying more of these and some other flavors. Thank you Dominique & Sam for making the world a better place one kernel at a time!

This is our first stop when visiting and last stop before heading back home!!! Not only is the popcorn the best I’ve ever had the owner is so kind letting us try flavors and telling us about his creations. He even introduced us to some flavors I didn’t know if I would like but ended up loving. Loaded baked potato mixed with Sea Salt Carmel though is still my absolute favorite. If you guys need a new spot do yourself a favor and go!!! You won’t regret it. Thank you for creating such amazing popcorn and I can’t to see what you guys come up with next!! Oh one more thing there reward system is amazing you don’t even spend that much and you get a free popcorn!

We found this store during a stroll in downtown Mt Holly. All of the popcorn was so good and Sam was super friendly! Would recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

The guy is in there faithfully almost everyday and I respect that as a self owned black business, now I'm not givin this 5 stars cause it's black owned but this man has miracle workin hands wit them popcorn flavors, good prices with dang near I'd say over 25 diff flavs of popcorn and they all taste fresh n not like it's been sitting for a while, hadn't tried the ice cream but I'm sure it's good too, ice cream is ice cream too me🤷🏾‍♂️

Literally the best in Popcorn!
Popcorn is bigger and barely has seeds so it wont be stuck in your teeth.
The owner is so heart filled kind and friendly.
Perfect family oriented place to get a treat for the kiddies.

I absolutely love this place!! Best popcorn flavors around! Just tried the new Chicken and Waffles! Make sure you try the savory and sweet pieces together for the perfect treat! In all honesty though the butter Rum is my favorite! Make sure to try this place out whether you like your popcorn savory, sweet, or even spicy! (They have a spicy mango)

We had a great time meeting Sam and sampling his savory, sweet, and premium popcorn flavors. We were excited to see an NC A&T popcorn tin that we were able to get THREE flavors in! We also saw our favorite NFL teams' tins (Dolphins & Ravens), of course. Popcorn was awesome! My husband got Loaded Baked Potato, Chicken & Waffles, and White Cheddar & Jalepeno. I normally don't like popcorn, but that Loaded Baked Potato was something to write home about! We'll definitely be back to patronize this brother's family business.

Some of best gourmet popcorn I have found. The owners are down to earth, very energetic, funny, and honest. Family man and community helpers! This family is hands down some of my favorites! The list of flavors they have now 🤯, the amount of popcorn you get for the price 🎯. You WILL GET your money's worth. I could spend all my money on their popcorn. This afternoon I went in, told me about a new flavor: Chicken and Waffles.... got my taste test, and the verdict: I didn't like it. But that's ok, cause they have sooooo many other flavors to choose from. My top picks would be: Banana Pudding, and Candy Apple 🤤🤤

IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED IT, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! Nothing but positive vibes/words for Pop-Maize-N

The owners are amazing, so therefore they create amazing things for us!

Everything I am on Mt Holly, NC I stop into Pop Maize. Always friendly workers and of course the popcorn is fabulous. Gotta get a few samples before committing. Check it out.

The “Coco Trifecta” is so addictive! You taste the sweet, savory, caramel popcorn, drizzled with dark and white yummy chocolate. It’s a decadent combination! Amazing or n this case, Pop-maiz-n!

This company dropped samples off at my husbands work place and he brought some home for me to try and WOW. its so good!! I didn't think I even liked flavored popcorn until I tried theirs. Can't wait to send him to pick up a full size!

Best gourmet popcorn place over 20 different flavors, you can mix flavors, you can sample any flavor, awesome tins you can also Purchase like the military, sports teams, marvel and many more. Also, black owned business. Prices are great as well.

When I say this popcorn NEVER disappoints and the taste is consistent no matter when you get it. I'm in this shop just about weekly. We are completely addicted to the Lemon pound cake popcorn. Y'all...... It taste like lemon pound cake. Better for me than the actual pound cake I believe. Please support this business. They sell ice cream as well and own a bakery less than a block away with amazing cupcakes. Please check them out. You will not be disappointed.

The best gourmet popcorn that I have ever had! The owner was there when I stopped by and he has to be the nicest person that I have met since moving to this area! He had us (my fiancé and I) try new things. We got to sample a different type of gourmet popcorn so we knew that we would like it. I definitely left with a bag for myself (and a smile). It's so delicious. I really like the vibe in there. It was a very nice experience. They even had the "old school" candy on the shelves for sale (that remind you so much of your childhood). Very nostalgic. When I go back (because of course I will), I'm definitely trying the ice cream this time. It's sounds so yummy and (from what I hear) it takes 2 weeks to get there because it's specially ordered from another state. I really liked the cause and the story behind the history of the store and why it's there. It's definitely something that i can get on board with. If you like sweets (or just experiencing nice people at a nice place in general), I highly recommend that you stop by if ever you're in the area. Enjoy you guys! Life is too short!

I love this place!! I drive there from South Charlotte just to get the Lemon Pound Cake popcorn. It is amazingly delicious!!! The owner is so friendly and always recommends samples to try. I can’t get enough of this place!!

I have been wanting to visit here for a long time now and the wait was worth it. I never knew so many flavors of popcorn existed or were possible. I will be returning to buy more, especially when I host my outdoor 🎥 night. I am very pleased. I'm going to get a large tin around the holidays to have. You can sample any of the flavors before buying. There are plenty of flavors to choose from and plenty of sizes to meet your preference. Prices are reasonable and clearly posted. I have found a new place to visit often.

I ordered the lemon pound cake and sweet heat online on a Wednesday the following day they shipped it out to me so shipping was very prompt. I received my order on Saturday. The lemon pound cake was a bit disappointing because it was the flavor I looked forward to the most, it was too lemony for me. That’s the downside of ordering online because you can’t actually sample it before buying. Sweet heat however was amazing!! I was craving flavored popcorn for a few days and this satisfied my craving, if I had to order again I would definitely go for sweet heat, lemon pound cake not so much.

OMG I AM SO OVERJOYED WITH THIS COMPANY! I ORDERED ONLINE TODAY AND GOT MY POPCORN THIS EVENING!!!! THE DELIVERY GENTLEMAN WAS SOOOOOO SWEET AND KIND!!! I think I might have an addiction to the rainbow flavor popcorn! It's so delicious! I also tried the Cinnabon flavor and that was good too but I still order my favorite, Rainbow! The order turnaround time is pretty awesome as well! Prayerfully after this pandemic that we are in, we'll be able to make a trip to Mt. Holley.

I loved the popcorn!! Bought myself some savory Loaded Baked potato & my granddaughter Audrina some Cherry !! Was glad I could pick up my Wish order as well, so close to my home. Gonna tell everybody about how good the popcorn is & how sweet the owner was to us.

Who would have thought that hanging out in a gourmet popcorn shop could be SO much fun?! We went around 7 p.m. on Friday after our Mount Holly friends told us we had to check it out. Devin was working and we were the only ones in the store, so we ended up staying for a half hour. We had the BEST time chatting with Devin, taking pics and video, and sampling all the unique flavors. Each one was so tasty and fresh! Devin was super friendly, knowledgeable and fun, but he also took the time to talk about how the popcorn was made, told us stories, offered up recs for flavor combinations, and answered our incessant questions. We bought a salted caramel and cheddar combo, cinnamon bun, white chocolate with pretzels, and loaded baked potato with hot cheddar combo. We’re so happy our friends told us about this awesome place. Even though we live 35 minutes away, we will definitely be back and tell others. It’ll be the perfect treat to end the day after a kayak trip at the nearby whitewater center. Thanks for everything, Devin!

First, forget everything you know about flavored popcorn, because if you're like me, you expect flavored popcorn to be stale, bland, unimaginative and ultimately, not to taste anything like the "flavors" it attempts to emulate. Enter Pop-maize-N. My expectations were completely shattered by how good this popcorn was. Flavors like s'mores, lemon pound cake and banana pudding might sound too ambitious to be true, but each one is executed flawlessly and really tastes just like its moniker. The banana pudding even has pieces of vanilla wafer! Coupled with the original recipes and surprisingly good flavor is a friendly and helpful staff that makes you feel welcome. One of the easiest five star reviews I've ever written. If you have passed by this place without stopping in, make sure you put it on your to do list. The free samples will guarantee that you don't leave empty handed.

Awesome popcorn from this Family owned business. Been buying online for sometime now. Especially love the cheddar caramel and lemon popcorn. This store is opening up on 1/13/18. I can't wait to go to the Grand opening!
